Watercolor Pour Weekend Workshop!

$95 (+ $15 supply fee due at class, payable to teacher)
Learn to create watercolor paintings by pouring and squirting paint!
We’ll use the primary colors, allowing them to mingle on the paper, creating gorgeous color blends! We’ll control this juicy, delicious color feast using masking fluid to delineate the whites, lights, and shapes.
The supply fee covers all supplies we’ll use. I’ll have reference photos to draw or trace - or bring a photo that you’ll want to turn into a painting.

Professionally Framing Artwork Behind Glass - A How-To Workshop
Sunday, October 18, 1:00 - 4:30 pm
$65 (plus $10 supply fee due at beginning of class)
I will show you several ways of framing your watercolors, pastels, and photos behind glass: with a mat, and without (using the “floating” frame method). You’ll learn which tools to keep in your arsenal and how to keep your costs within reason.
Then you will use that information and my guidance to frame a small artwork with a classic black frame and white mat. We will cover the back with a dust cover and add hanging wire, for a very professional finish!
Please bring a 5: x 7” painting or photo to frame. Text me if you have any questions

CitraSolv Method Workshop: Creating Altered Papers and Using them to Paint On, PrintOn, and Create With

An afternoon of FUN and ART for the art dabbler or serious artist! We'll turn National Geographic pages into beautiful, abstract art, then use them as backgrounds for paintings and nature prints!

Holiday Cards in Watercolor with Renee Wrenwood

Create loose and easy hand-painted Holiday cards!
In this workshop, you will create 5 different gorgeous watercolor Christmas cards!. Renee, an experienced watercolor teacher, will provide step-by-step instruction. We will practice techniques before applying them, and traceables will be provided for the more difficult drawings.
We’ll work on high quality white watercolor paper and on the colored cards themselves. You may choose to “frame” your masterpieces with white, green, red, or brown bag cards.
All supplies are provided. Let’s get into the holiday spirit! Adults and teens welcome!

Last year's MAST was full of fun, art, and happy visitors! I found myself giving out cuttings of my lovely succulents to interested guests! Happy collectors went home with my watercolor paintings, as well as Heidi Kidd's lovely pastel paintings and the wonderful resin and flower paintings of Lori Thornton!
